Mainly focused on arms and abs with one set of squats.
Workout:
After my run decided to spend some time on the elliptical. Simple 20 minutes (opted not to due 30 b/c I didn’t want to strain my legs). Good and tiring!
Workout:
Ran at the gym. My goal was to run for thirty minutes. After 30, I felt strong and decided to push for 5 (my old standard run). I was definitely tired at the end but able to push the speed up a teensy bit for the last .3. It really felt good to run. Now if only all these blizzards would stop and the snow melts so I can hit up the trails again!!
Workout:
Ab after cardio– I was so tired by this point!
Workout:
Elliptical at the gym after the run. Legs felt heavy in the beginning then felt fine after 10 minutes.
Workout:
Run at the gym, felt like my breathing was off and my shoulder began to get achey towards the end.
Workout:
Pilates Abs.
Re-evaluating my goals for the year-
* Run 1,000 miles- I would need roughly 20 miles per week which I did not meet this month. However most of last year I did reach this, so it is definitely feasible especailly when the weather warms up.
* Cross-train - Doing good. I have a feeling that I over-ran this winter and kinda burned out. I am liking the cross training.
* Eat healthier- I am working on this. I have cut down on crappy snacks and I am working to have healthier meals such as salad and soups. This will always be a work in progress I think but it’s true that I feel better when I eat healthy.
Maybe now I’ll be less overwhelmed and feel like I’m failing….
Workout:
yoga for strength so thought I would label it as strength training. A lot of arm posed with feet off the ground which I have yet to master.. hmm maybe a new goal.
Still working on easing back into the excercise routine… gotta drop the weight I gained over the holidays (so disapppointed…)
Workout:
10 minutes focused on arms, and 10 minutes on core. Afterwards stretched out.
Workout:
Elliptical for 30 minutes then 5 minute cool down. In the 30 minutes it said I covered 4 miles woo!
I want to try to ease back into running this week but all the unbroken treadmills at the gym were taken. The gym is really starting to bother me with their lack of equipment especailly treadmills- they took out a few and there is always at least 2 not working every time I go.
